Library Printing

We have some exciting new changes to share with you regarding printing from on-campus! 

New Library Print Driver!
We have updated our Library Print driver to the latest version. You must have the newest driver installed to print.  The new driver corrects several known issues, including those with HP and Cannon all-in-one printers. Bentley computers, including those in the Student Mobile Computing Program, that have connected to the network since August 28, 2009 have the latest print driver installed.  Note that a reboot is required for it to complete installation. 

For personal computers, please visit deploy.bentley.edu (on campus only) to download and install the latest driver. Please note, you must uninstall the older Library Print driver prior to installing the new one. To uninstall the old print driver: 

  • Open Control Panel from Start Menu
  • Under Programs, click Uninstall a Program (XP: Add or Remove Programs)
  • Click Pharos and choose Uninstall (XP: Change/Remove button)
  • Click Run Uninstaller and follow prompts

For MacBooks, please follow these instructions

Introducing Color Printing!!!
You now have an option of printing color documents from anywhere on campus!!!!  When you are ready to print, choose either Library Color Print or Library Print from your list of available printers.  If you do not have Library Color Print installed on your computer visit deploy.bentley.edu (on campus only) to download and install the color printer driver.
