Your notebook computer is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty for the duration of the time (4 semesters) that it is assigned to you; however, the computer battery is covered under the warranty for one year.  During this time, any malfunction from a manufacturer’s defect is repaired free of charge.

In the event of non-warranty damage, a responsibility fee will be assessed to your student account.   Major accidental damage to a computer will be billed at $100 and minor damage at $25. 

In the event your computer is stolen, you must retain a valid police report within 48 hours of the incident, and you will be billed $750.
