Your Blackboard account grants you access to your courses via the web.  Blackboard is an online application which enables faculty members to deliver course materials to their students.  It can be used to post a course syllabus, homework assignments, class handouts, and presentations.  It also enables students and faculty to interact through online message boards.  The use of Blackboard in a course is at the discretion of the faculty member.

To participate in a Blackboard course and access materials, you must log in to Blackboard using your Bentley short name and Bentley netword password.  You can find your Bentley short name and set your Bentley netword password on the Welcome tab of MyBentley.

Log in to Blackboard:

1. Open Internet Explorer and go to blackboard.bentley.edu.
2. Type your Bentley short name in the "Username" text box.
3. Type your Bentley network password in the "Password" text box.
4. Click the "Login" button.
