As a student transitioning from the undergraduate to the graduate program here at Bentley, we would like to make you aware of information available to you as a graduate student regarding your Bentley notebook.
- Do not complete the Senior Notebook Checkout until you finish your graduate studies at Bentley. The SNC process removes your notebook from the Bentley network and removes some software you will continue to use as a graduate student.
- If you have paid 4 semesters of the $600 technology fee on your current notebook computer, you will receive an email from the Banner system stating your notebook computer has been returned from your account. (This process stops the billing of the $600 per semester undergraduate technology fee).
- As a full-time graduate student, a technology fee of $100 per semester will be posted to your student account.
- Continued use of the Computing Services Desk for hardware repairs (providing your notebook computer is covered by the manufacturers warranty), software troubleshooting, and the use of a loaner notebook computer, if your computer is in for hardware repairs.
